A Safe & Secure Learning Environment at Kenilworth School & Sixth Form

Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is undertaking an exciting relocation project, expanding their facilities and capacity in a new purpose-built school site which will enable them to extend their ‘centre of excellence’ offering to 2,200 pupils.

The ambitious project has been ongoing for a number of years, achieving planning in 2019 and beginning construction in 2021.  The development is now in its final throes and, as part of these finishing stages, CS Security Solutions Ltd were asked to provide our expertise in making the new learning environment as safe and secure as possible for pupils and staff.

As ever, our design and planning phases were largely carried out off-site at our offices in Derby to minimise disruption and the installation was planned carefully around other trades and deadlines on-site to ensure a seamless process.

The design includes the latest Pyronix 280x intruder alarm system and IP Video Surveillance System to keep the site safe at all times, both in and out of term-times, as well as Paxton access control and video intercom to ensure that only staff, students and invited visitors can gain access to the new school.  Part of our service includes full training to ensure everyone who needs to operate the system is confident in doing so, clearly understanding how it works and fully utilising all its features and benefits.   There’s no point in having cutting-edge technology if you’re not sure how to use it effectively!
