State-of-the-art Fire & Security, for a State-of-the-art Development
CS Security Solutions were privileged to be involved in an innovative new dual-use development for East Lindsey District Council. The Hub, in Horncastle, Lincolnshire, houses the council’s relocated HQ and a shared space for Boston College.
This unique £8.25m eco-friendly building, created by contractors Willmott Dixon, aims to streamline the council’s services and reduce their carbon footprint in line with the national 2030 net-zero target, as well as strengthening the partnership between the council and the college. The Hub brings exciting opportunities to the community and the region, both now and in the future.
Such a modern, forward-thinking community space required something special in terms of safety and security systems. That’s why they called on the expertise of CS Security Solutions to design and install their entire system including fire alarm, disabled refuge, accessible alarm system, monitored intruder alarm, IP CCTV and access control system. It’s vital that the space is safe, secure and accessible for all whilst it is being used, as well as being closely monitored and protected from intruders or vandalism whilst not in use.
Using cutting-edge technology, our systems were designed and fitted in close consultation with the developers and in line with the project’s sustainability goals – aiming to maximise security whilst minimising energy usage and on-going running costs. In a collaborative project of this size and scale timely delivery is imperative and the team knew they could rely on CS Security Systems for professional installation on time and on budget.
